Enhancing Quality in the Translational Research Workforce Conference

This conference is open to professionals in clinical and translational research including investigators, clinical research coordinators, monitors, project and site managers, regulatory staff, research assistants, and allied health professionals. The conference offers the opportunity to gain additional knowledge on current trends and issues in clinical research for application in their professional setting. Program Objectives 

Upon Completion of this session, participants should be able to:

  1. Examine the impact of major trends and forces in the Clinical Research Enterprise
  2. Discuss what it means to be engaged in clinical research and the necessary approvals to conduct research for U. S. centric investigators
  3. Identify how to work effectively as part of a clinical research team
  4. Analyze current trends and issues in clinical research for application in a professional setting

Contact Hours 

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute.  Provide approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CPN 15198, for 6 continuing education contact hours.  Conference participants must attend the conference in full to receive contact hours and certificate of completion.  At the end of the day, please leave your completed and signed yellow form on the Information Desk.  Forms will not be accepted earlier in the day. 

Registration

There are no refunds unless the event is canceled by NUCATS Institute before the start of the program. Walk-in registrations the day of the event are welcomed as space permits on a first come first served basis.  Walk-in registrants must pay with a credit card.

Parking

If you registered for complimentary parking during the registration process, please make sure to park at one of these two options: Erie Ontario Parking (321 E. Erie) or Huron Superior Parking (222 E. Huron). You must collect a parking ticket upon entry into the garage and then a ticket voucher will be provided to you at the Information Desk at the event.  Complimentary parking can only be guaranteed for those who pre-registered for parking.
