Many of Northwestern University's Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design (BERD) activities take place within the Biostatistics Collaboration Center (BCC). The BCC is a resource for investigators with biostatistical, epidemiological, programming, and data management support needs.
BERD by the numbers:
- BCC members have collaborated with more than 528 investigators in over 40 departments/divisions/centers across both Chicago and Evanston campuses and with all of our clinical partners.
- BCC members have partnered with epidemiology colleagues as part of the Translational Research Incubator Program to provide intensive mentoring and studio-style feedback to more than 20 junior investigators planning to apply for NIH K or R awards.
Request for Methodology Challenge Applications
This request solicits study grant applications to address broadly generalizable and important biostatistical, epidemiological, and research design (BERD)-related problems in clinical and translational research. Teams consisting of BERD investigators and their clinical and translational scientist collaborators are invited to apply.
