Below is a listing of resources and services offered by Galter’s librarians and informationists. A full listing of their research and information services can be found here.

  • Enhanced literature searching and systematic review support for investigators with the deployment of a full-time librarian dedicated to assisting investigators with systematic reviews.

  • Robust support for compliance of public access policies, including assistance for investigators with NIH Public Access Policy compliance and myNCBI reporting and assistance with research reporting guidelines. Services to support the new NIH biosketch format requirements are also available.

  • The Metrics and Impact Core (MIC), an impact and evaluation service provides services and support for bibliometrics, visualizations, and assessing research impact. Special services to optimize visibility and dissemination are also offered.

  • Two clinical informationists provide a range of integrated support activities, including: rapid support of research findings directly to clinical teams on rounds or in other clinical forums; clinical support services, such as an EHR-based clinical informatics consult service; and collaboration with key constituents on journal clubs, seminars, systematic reviews, and other clinically focused projects.

  • Centralization and provision of licensed bioinformatics and biostatistics software and information resources with personalized data analysis support, data management consultations, and just-in-time online tutorials.

  • A commitment to digital innovation, including traditional efforts to support preservation and provide access to scholarly content through a digital repository and other digital initiatives.
